Hiya My names Brent...and im a Rush fan and drummer from Sth Australia. Noted your Peart 747 sticks :) very nice :) I actually have the pair you do, weel a few of them...but i also have another....pretty much the identical stick, but with Black and Red banding....maybe a ltd edition i think...i can try to scan or photo them if youre interested....

I got the Neil Peart edition sticks from my father for my 22nd birthday, as best as i can recall....having both listened to, and (attempted) play Neil's intricate drum parts in Rush's tunes, i soon realised that no matter how great the sticks....how good the emulation of the player....you just cant mimic a work of art exactly. So despondant i shelved my Peart sticks....to think I would never use them again. However one thing was brought to light by my old man, a drummer himself for 30+ years...."Neil Peart masters his technique, his style and his precision, he is a master...it is his job.....NOT yours." So armed with the cold hard reality, i went out and tried to find another set of sticks to place locked away...no luck and no hope. So instead i placed the good old Neil Peart Edition 747's away...until I can play a full Rush album. The dust gathers as i write now.... :) Also ive enclosed a pic of my kit for your interest :)

i took the same amount of pictures at the woodlands in Houston Texas. of course the show was down right on. this was my fifth rush show and this partictular one was incredible. it sounded so clear--even the lights were right on. it was beautiful. do you have any info on the band as far as an album? cool pictures. laters

Hey-Just finished flipping through your site, and it's very cool. I've been a RUSH fan for 25 years. I saw them in 1974 in a movie theater in Port Huron, Michigan...it was $3! Since then I've seen them about 20 times, and they never fail to amaze. I like all of their stuff, but the first five albums are my favorites. Maybe it's because I'm an old fart now! Keep up the good work...I'll be checking in on ya.

I have been listening to rush for four years and they are the best bad to ever garce this planet. There music has helped me figure out things that I never thought were possible to complete. And they also are the best band to study and work to.

Excellent site! I was just reading TNMS and saw that you just built this. I, and I'm sure I speak for all of us, thank you.

I've been a Rush fan since 1979. They're about the only group I will ALWAYS see when they tour. To me there is truly no band that offer what they do on so many levels. They are definately the only band that I can listen to indefinately... I never tire of any of their music. You've got a great website going and I'll put a link to it on my "token" Rush Tribute page. Hey, by the way, how much for those Niel Peart drumsticks! "Testing the limits of machine and man..." Zekial

John, Chicago, Ill.
How can you NOT have "Saw my post in the NMS" as a choice in the "How did you find us?" section? My first Rush concert was the Fly By Night tour stop at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago in late '74 (or early '75; it's all a bit fuzzy now ;-) ).

JMan2112, Your Rush page is lookin' fine! Nice job. Keep up the good work and the great posts to TNMS.

Hello to all RUSH-fans over the world. If possible sent me some information about an eventual European tour. Hello to all RUSH-fans over the world. If possible sent me some information about an eventual European tour, or sites wich sell RUSH articles.

Michael, Scotland, UK
Fisrt saw Rush on 24th May 1983 in Ingleston Edinburgh, it was the signals tour. They were awesome. Since then only managed to catch them twice, They don't tour Europe every often. Moving pictures is still king, however permanent and 2112 are still up there. As you may have guessed, an old rocker at heart. Listening primarily to radiohead, pearl jam. Great site you have Regards Michael

Joe, Woodland Hills, CA
I've read your stories on NMS and wanted to see the site. Thanks for the entertainment; your writing is as good as it gets on NMS.

Kevin, Did not leave location
Your website kicks ass! I just have one problem. My problem is is that when I saw Rush on the Test For Echo Tour on the second leg on June 20, 1997 it said in real big writing on the ticket NO CAMERAS ALLOWED. So in order for you to be able to take those behind the scenes pictures you would have had to get special clearance. While those pictures may belong to you, it has been my experience that most Rush fans are honest people not out to rip you off. For example on my webpage when I use pictures or graphics from another site I try to obtain permission and I credit my source. I guess what I'm trying to say is that by threatening to prosecute people your only turning people off. Your website is great, but you might lose a lot of guests by continuing to take the attitude your taking. I don't mean to ramble here but I would be very interested in using some of these pictures on my site, with your permission of course and you will get credit for anything that I use. My email address is (DELETED!) You can either get back to me via email, or by signing my guestbook. Thank you for your time. Kevin Barnes

Devon, Mesa, AZ

As I listen to "Different Stages .Live" (you know disc 3 is the best!!!!!), I surf to a true fan site!!!! I was there for the "All The World's A Stage" live album at Massey Hall in T.O.(Toronto, Canada-1976)....I know that makes me sound old...but.....what I mean is that I was at one of the sold-out shows that week...you got to know RUSH ROCKS ALWAYS and FOREVER!!!!!!!! Keep it going!!!! If you want the classic CAN -TUNE... "Battlescar" (RUSH & Max Webster)...email me....maybe I can send a mp3 file to you!!!!

Mark, Fairfield, CA
Hate to use the cliche'. But I WAS a huge "old RUSH" fan. Listening became harder after Moving Pictures. Bu as Neil wrote "Conform or be Cast Out". RUSH conformed and I didn't. Will always have great respect and appreciation for their talent. Viva Professor!!!

Scott, Baltimore, MD
Your page looks pretty good

Kai, Wisconsin
