SNA HOME

We had tickets in hand for the second night at Nokia. Arrived home at 3 a.m. after Tuesday's show, slept from 3:30 a.m. to 6 a.m., if you could call it that, managed to get through the day at work somehow, then came home and prepared for tonight's show.

I think for some people (maybe the majority), going to a concert is relatively simple. But for me it's pretty complex. I have to run down a checklist, written or mental, of all the things I need to take with me. And with a 2.5 hour nap for sleep, it makes getting ready for a show a little more difficult.

Getting ready to go is almost like packing for a vacation. Of course of most importance is choosing the right t-shirt to wear that goes along with mood and the vest. I purchased the thermal long sleeve Rush shirt at the SWAG booth on Tuesday and fell in love with the thing. I slept in it (for 2.5 hours at least), and it is very comfortable. Not only that, with unseasonably cool weather, wearing it is not hot, but just right. So the vest and the thermal Rush shirt were a go again.
