SNA HOME

I was virtually in the same seat as he was for R30 this time around. PL was way over off to the side near Alex. At intermission, he said that a security guard hassled him hard about taking photos and he hardly got any images from the first set. I know how that feels, believe me. So about 1/3 of the way through the second set, I left my seat and went over to him and asked him to take my ticket and go to Section 2, Row F, Seat 208, which was like an open shooting range in Montana or something, because I had already gotten like 200 images with no hassles. We yelled at each other over the roar of the stacks, and he told me it "was cool" because security had eased up, or changed guard, and he was able to shoot some photos. I virtually insisted he take my seat so he could get even better images and angles, but he refused, content to stay in his seat. I couldn't believe he passed up a seat that was even with Neil's drum kit with a perfect 180 degree unobstructed view of the band - but hey - he wanted to stay, and I bolted back and took 200 more shots. A bit excessive, but you know, this was Irvine and I had a bullseye on the band.
